GAAMHA is launching an exciting new Community-Based Enrichment Services (CBES) program in Leominster, MA, and we’re seeking a dedicated CBES Program Director to help build and lead this program from the ground up.

Your Role: A Leader, Innovator, and Advocate 

As the CBES Program Director, you’ll be responsible for ensuring a high-quality, person-centered program that promotes engagement, skill-building, and community inclusion. Your leadership will shape both the client experience and the success of the program as a whole. 

What You’ll Achieve 

  • Lead and Develop a Strong Team 

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and support Client Success Specialists and Navigators. 

  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture focused on client success. 

  • Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities. 

  • Oversee Program Operations 

  • Ensure the daily operations run smoothly, including activity coordination, group monitoring, and goal tracking. 

  • Responsible for budgets and billing. 

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve program policies and procedures. 

  • Maintain compliance with GAAMHA, state, and federal regulations. 

  • Enhance Client Experiences 

  • Design and implement engaging activities and volunteer opportunities that align with the clients' objectives and goals. 

  • Create community-based experiences that promote skill-building and independence. 

  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all clients and staff. 

  • Build Meaningful Connections 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for families, residential programs, DDS, and other service providers. 

  • Develop partnerships with community organizations to expand client opportunities. 

  • Manage Communication & Documentation 

  • Maintain clear, organized, and timely documentation to support program effectiveness and compliance. 

  • Lead team meetings and participate in organizational discussions to drive program improvement. 

  • Stay Current & Advocate for Best Practices 

  • Keep up with industry trends, training, and best practices in Community-Based Enrichment Services. 

  • Attend relevant trainings, conferences, and professional development opportunities. 

  • Support GAAMHA’s Mission 

  • Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned to enhance program success. 

What Sets You Apart 

  • Education & Experience.

  • High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred. 

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience required. 

  • 3+ years of experience in human services preferred, especially working with individuals with disabilities. 

  • Job coaching experience is a plus. 

  • Skills & Strengths: 

  • Strong leadership and team management skills. 

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other platforms such as Setworks and  the ability to maintain organized documentation. 

  • A passion for empowering individuals and fostering community inclusion.

Who You’ll Support 

As the CBES Program Director, you’ll lead Client Success Specialists and Navigators reporting directly to the Director of Development Services.
